1985 – Hand sketching vs digital design
Nothing enables us to conceive and formulate ideas more effectively than freehand drawing but computer-aided design was a visible and intimidating presence on the horizon in the 1980s – something to be suspicious of and yet be excited about.
As we stood on the threshold of change, we knew we would have to embrace a new era of digital design and we did. We have had to interface with a variety of ever-evolving software to drive forward digital design and engineering for more than 25 years.
