2015 – BREEAM Outstanding for Enterprise Centre

Our engineers contributed to the success of the Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia, creating one of the most sustainable buildings in the UK.

It is Passivhaus certified, BREEAM Outstanding and has been designed to achieve a 100 year lifespan. This multiple award winning project won BCO 2016 Best of the Best and Corporate Workplace categories with judges saying:
“Probably the UK’s greenest commercial building, it has set the benchmark high for future sustainable development across the globe.”

Over the years, our engineering team has gained extensive experience collaborating with clients across the education sector. In 2006, we won the commission for five Greenwich schools as part of the Building Schools for the Future initiative including the John Roan School which was the first school to achieve BREEAM Excellent rating.

Other projects include Westminster City Academy (shortlisted for the Stirling prize), London Dock School, and the refurbishment of The University of London’s Grade II* listed building Senate House.
